⌚October 28th Early Release Monday - Action Required!
Thank you for your support and patience during our first early release Monday. Please know that as we begin planning for our next early release Monday on October 28, we will adhere to the following protocols:
- ❗We are asking everyone to please complete this updated form to indicate selections for your family. Please fill out a form for each student you have at Forestville.

New! SACC will be open starting at 1:00 p.m. for those students who are already enrolled in after-school SACC. All students participating in after-school SACC, as noted on the google form above, will be dismissed directly to SACC at 1:00 p.m.
- We understand family needs may shift however, we are asking for families to please try and limit last minute dismissal changes for early release Mondays. Should you have a list minute dismissal change for Monday October 28th please email hlkattera1@fcps.edu. This is to ensure that all students go home safely and correctly.
✨📔 Book Character Spirit Day
On Thursday, October 31st, Forestville will be having a Book/Movie Character Spirit Day. This is an opportunity for students to dress as their favorite storybook or movie character! Students should only wear "costumes" that are school appropriate. Masks, face paint, and weapons are not allowed.
💻Digital Citizenship Week
Digital Citizenship Week is October 14, 2024, through October 18, 2024. This year's Digital Citizenship Week focuses on supporting student's mental and physical health in relation to technology use.

Families can access the Media Balance and Wellbeing Toolkit to support the healthy use of technology. FCPS will continue leading efforts to promote a positive culture of media and technology use, supporting both students and their families.

Winter Bazaar - Keep Warm and Craft On - Vendors Wanted
Our 2nd Annual Winter Bazaar is jingling its way into Forestville on November 23 from 11 AM - 3 PM! 🎄 Last year, the gym was buzzing with handcrafted jewelry, delicious food, toys, home decor, and holiday treasures. This year, we’re inviting small businesses to join us again!
If you or someone you know has a business with products that appeal to families or fit the holiday spirit, we’d love to have you. And remember—we’re not limited to crafts! 🎁 (Please, no student applications.)
