Walk and Bike to School Day

Walk and Bike to School Day was a huge success! Thank you to our PTA for organizing walk and roll to school day that included chalk the walk, music, and a TC Tiger cameo appearance!

Terra Centre Families,

We would like to thank all of parents who volunteered for Field Day. This day would not have been possible without you. Thank you so much for your time, energy, and enthusiasm. We truly appreciate your help in creating this special day for our school community. We would also like to thank Papa John's Pizza in Burke for their donation of pizza boxes for our pizza relay game. Their generous contribution allowed us to continue to play one of our favorite field day games.

Come out and celebrate during Robinson's Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 25th at 4:45 p.m.. Hear the Marching Rams perform, see the Robinson pyramid mascots, and support Robinson's different clubs and activities before watching the Robinson Varsity football team take on the Fairfax Lions at 7:00 p.m. It is sure to be a great time for all families.

Our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon will be held on Friday, November 8th. Due to this special event, lunch times have been adjusted and the lunch times are posted in our All Parents Schoology course. We will also celebrate our Veterans on Friday, November 8th. Veterans are invited to sign up to  share their experiences with students. Signups will be sent out in grade level weekly newsletters.

Help us "rake it in" with our Fall Fundraiser!

We are thrilled to announce that we are launching our Fall Fundraiser, running from now through November 13th, with a goal of raising $22,000! This year, in response to your feedback, we are introducing a donation-only format making it easier than ever for you to contribute without the need for participation or volunteering—ideal for our busy lives! We believe this simplified approach will inspire greater involvement, and we’re excited about the potential for greater donations.

In previous active fundraisers, around 195 participants contributed approximately $19,000, which helped support essential initiatives such as experiential learning, classroom charging stations, and indoor/outdoor learning enhancements such as upgrades to the Discovery Garden.

By choosing to donate, you significantly impact and enhance the TCES educational experience. This year, we’re aiming for at least 230 participants to help us reach our goal of $22,000. We invite everyone in our school community to contribute, as every donation—no matter the size—brings us closer to our goal. Feel free to share the donation website link with friends and family.

Please consider joining the PTA. The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Association is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. PTA Membership

Celebrating the Power of School Lunches

Multiple studies show that school lunches are important in supporting overall student health by improving students’ diets and combating food insecurity. Students who eat school lunches consume more fruit, vegetables, and fiber than their peers.

This School Lunch Week, FCPS Food and Nutrition Services reminds families that they are dedicated to providing flavorful, healthy, sustainable, and student-focused meals. Also, new menu items have been launched this year based on student feedback.

Want to know what’s for breakfast or lunch? Nutrition Services now has printable menus
