Dear Olde Creek Families,
This week, we were delighted to see the sun shining and our students enjoying the outdoors. It's always a joy to watch them play and learn in such a beautiful setting. As the leaves begin to change and the crisp autumn air fills the air, we're excited for the many wonderful activities and events that October has in store.

Olde Creek Walking Club is starting for this school year on October 16. Please join us to get a jump start on your daily steps and to get a charm!
Advanced Academics Program (AAP) Information Session
All interested families are welcome to attend the AAP Information Session on Thursday, October 17 at 5:30 PM in the Olde Creek Library. The Advanced Academic Resource Teacher, Wendy Stobbe, will share details about AAP services offered at Olde Creek and in Fairfax County.

Woodson High School Fall Fest
Woodson’s Annual Fall Festival is on Saturday, October 26th from 11am-2pm. There will be Trunk or Treating, face painting, a bounce house, arts and crafts, and games for Woodson’s feeder students to participate in for this fall season! Admission is free for all!

PTA Halloween Howl
Join us for a spooktacular night of fun on Friday, October 25th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Enjoy pizza, snacks, trunk-or-treat, a cake game, dancing, and a costume contest.
New this year: Bring canned goods for our "reverse trick-or-treat" to support Bears Cares families.

Sports Camp for Early Release Mondays
Olde Creek's PTA has partnered with Overtime Athletics to provide a sports camp for students from 12:15 PM to 3:15 PM on Early Release Mondays. Students will play a variety of group game tournaments, such as floor hockey, basketball, soccer, gym group games, and more! Camp will cost $40. Click here for more details and registration.
