Custodian Appreciation
Last week our students and staff celebrated our amazing custodians for Custodian Appreciation Week. Our custodians do an amazing job each day to keep Union Mill safe and clean. We are grateful for all they do.
Check out some of our Union Mill Bears taking part in National Walk and Roll to School today, third grade releasing their butterflies and kids participating in our Sports and Hobby Spirit Day last week!
🌟 Spotlight on Mrs. Rucker's Class! 🌟
We are thrilled to share that students in Mrs. Rucker's class are actively showcasing their Portrait of a Graduate (POG) skills! They’ve been leading discussions on crafting powerful introductions, rehearsing their topic statements, and brainstorming ways to make their essays even more compelling. It was fantastic to witness their collaboration as they provided each other with constructive feedback. Their commitment to effective communication and collaboration truly embodies the spirit of the POG skills! Keep up the amazing work, students! 🎉✍️
Upcoming Spirit Day
Our Union Mill Bears worked hard to meet their log in and fundraising goals for our Fun Run and have earned Pajama Day on Friday, October 11th.

Math and Science Night
We are excited to announce our upcoming Math and Science Night at Union Mill on November 12th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM! This event will be a fantastic opportunity for our students and their families to explore the wonders of math and science through engaging, hands-on activities.
To make this event a success, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help facilitate the activities. Volunteer opportunities will begin at 5:00 and end at 7:30.
The best part? No prep is required! All materials will be provided by Mathnasium of Centreville and The Children's Science Center. Your role will simply involve guiding families through the various stations and ensuring everyone has a great time.
