The program is sponsored by George Mason University, Northern Virginia Community College, Trinity University, and Marymount University. This program is open to community members, allies/advocates, students, parents, professionals, and practitioners.

Food for Neighbors

Food for Neighbors

Justice High School is a proud partner with Food for Neighbors, a local organization who helps to feed our students outside of school hours.

Food for Neighbors collects food from the surrounding community via the Red Bag Program and donating directly to their partner local schools. The food is distributed weekly to students through our food pantry. Community members can make a difference in a student's life by simply adding a few extra items to your grocery shopping cart every two months.

If you're interested in supporting this initiative, you can get a tax deductible for the food that you donate!

  1. Request a reusable Red Bag here and Food for Neighbors will drop it off at your house
  2. Fill the Red Bag with food items that are listed on the tag
  3. Put the Red Bag outside your front door in the morning on the next bag collection day. Collection Dates are listed here but also on your tag.

Food for Neighbors is also looking for volunteers!
