It was wonderful to see so many families at this week's Back to School Night! We always appreciate having the time to connect with our families and share updates and news about the school year. We hope all of our parents/guardians have had an opportunity to sign up for a conference with your student's teacher to continue the school/home connection.
As a reminder, school is closed for students on Thursday, October 3 and Friday, October 4. We hope all of our Eagles enjoy the long weekend!
AAP Continuum of Services
FCPS offers a continuum of advanced academic services to provide challenging learning experiences to all students. To learn more about the various Advanced Academic Program (AAP) levels here in Fairfax County, you can:
- Read about them in the AAP Fall newsletter in English, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Urdu, or Vietnamese.
- Join us for an Introduction to AAP Curriculum meeting on Oct 1 at 5:30 PM.
- Attend a session on Understanding the Full-time Screening Process on Oct 22 at 5:30pm. Spring screening referrals for Full-time services are accepted August 19-December 15, 2024.
