Spirit Wear Update
Spirit wear orders have arrived! The final pick-up date for this week is Friday, September 27 from 7-7:30 AM (students only). If you are picking up pre-paid orders, please know the email address and/or phone number used as well as your items and quantities. Additional items will also be available for purchase with credit card.
If you are not able to pick up your spirit wear orders this week, please contact VP@FrostMSPTA.org to arrange to receive your items.
Google Workshop
A free STEM workshop will be held on September 28th. This event is open to all students in 6th-8th grade.
Join the PTA Today!
Thank you to many who joined and others who stepped up to volunteer. As we embark on another exciting school year, we invite you to make a difference for our students and teachers at Frost Middle School through Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) membership.
PTA Family Memberships are $25. Funds from PTA memberships and donations are used in support of the Frost PTA’ initiatives including our staff Grant Program. Your dollars will go directly to programs that enrich the experience of students, families, and staff here at Frost. A family membership also includes access to the Frost online student directory. Every parent/guardian who signs up for PTA membership automatically gets included in the student directory, unless you choose to opt your student out.
You can purchase your PTA membership here. Additional donations are also welcome to support the important work we do for our teachers and students!

In addition to joining the PTA as a member, please consider volunteering! Volunteering is a great way to support the PTA and our mission to provide a more enriched learning experience for all our children! Whether it’s through offering your time on an ad hoc basis or taking on a more active role by chairing or joining a committee, every contribution is valuable. We need you – the number and scale of events depends on volunteers!
Please take a moment to complete the programming and volunteer questionnaire here. This will ensure that we can effectively organize our efforts and make the most out of the talents and time our community has to offer.

Falcon Focus - Susie Morningstar
Susie Morningstar is the Administrative Assistant to Principal Harris, and she plays an invaluable role in helping our school community run smoothly! Her role includes a little of everything, from communications, to working with facilities and scheduling meetings, and she is the go-to source for information about anything Frost-related. Susie has been at Frost for 5 years. Before that, she served in the Air Force for 15 years and worked in other roles with FCPS. Her own children attended Frost, and her family has lived in the area for more than 20 years. In her spare time, Susie enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading and solving crossword puzzles.
Susie says her favorite thing about working at Frost is the school community and her fellow staff members. She appreciates the focus the Frost staff has on supporting the students and each other.
