A Message from the Principal

6Hello BVES Families,

It is hard to believe we are headed into October already!  We have had a wonderful first 6 weeks of school.  We have so much learning going on!  Teachers have implemented routines and procedures and are digging into their first units in our new Virginia Literacy Act Benchmark Basel Reading Program.

Thank you to all who were able to attend our virtual AAP curriculum night this past Thursday, we are so lucky to have Ms. Betz at the helm!  Also, thank you to all who attended our First Family Coffee Hour last Friday morning. It was a great time to learn about how our family liaison and school counselors can help support families and students at Belle View.

Please note, this week is a little out of the ordinary.  We will not have school for students on Thursday or Friday due to Rosh Hashanah and a teacher work day.  We will welcome the students back on Monday, October 8th.

Shanah Tovah to all who celebrate!

Proud Principal,

Katie Pluntke
