Cav Cupboard
Help stock Cav Cupboard in September– Woodson’s Student and Family Food Pantry
Last year, thanks to the generous support of our parent community, the PTSO supported the launch of The Cav Cupboard, a critical resource that provides food and other household needs to Woodson students and their families throughout the school year. Distribution is managed in a discreet and respectful way and has already made a tremendous difference for Woodson families, and helped students struggling with hunger during the school day.
It’s time to stock the pantry and we are asking that you help in one of three ways:
- Purchase items directly from our Cav Cupboard Amazon Wishlist – all items purchased will be delivered directly to Woodson High School and directed to the Cav Cupboard.
- Purchase and drop off items from our PRIORITY NEEDS list below. Drop off items between now and Friday, September 26th –in the lobby outside of the main office.
- Donate directly to the PTSO PayPal food drive account here –Woodson PTSO Donation Drive and we’ll use funds to stock most needed items for families. Please note Cav Cupboard with your PayPal donation.
Please note that we while would appreciate any items on the list, the most needed items are:
Quick snacks and meals for the student pantry: Granola bars, breakfast bars, cup-a-soup, mac and cheese (individual), fruit cups, individually wrapped/single serving healthy chips, crackers, etc.
Meals for families: rice and beans, spaghetti and red sauce, canned vegetables, peanut butter.
Self care items: toothpaste/toothbrushes, soap, etc.
Thank you all for your support.

The All Night Grad Party NEEDS YOU!
Every year, Woodson celebrates our graduates with a drug and alcohol free all night party to keep our teens off the roads and safe. It’s a Cavalier tradition that freshman, sophomore, and junior parents organize the event to “pay it forward” for when their own kids are celebrating. But this fabulous event can’t happen without a planning committee!
Can you help? Email woodsonangp@gmail.com to volunteer or find out more!
