KJMS begins their Basketball Season this Thursday vs Rocky Run Middle School!

9/26 - Rocky Run @ KJMS
10/10 - Franklin @ KJMS
10/17 - Hughes @ KJMS
10/24 - Stone @ KJMS
10/30 - KJMS @ Liberty
For all games, Girls tipoff at 6pm and Boys tipoff at 7pm.
- Admission is $5 at the door - cash only
- All student spectators must have a parent/guardian chaperone present
- Doors will open at 5:30pm - Use Door 7

The Appian Board Games League is a free after-school program designed to help students in grades 7 and 8 develop important critical-thinking and social skills while engaged in a fun and challenging activity.
Meetings will take place from 2:30-3:30 on Wednesdays:
10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23 - students will learn to play Splendor and will perfect their strategy
10/30, 11/6 - students will compete in a club tournament to determine top players
11/9 - Top players will compete against other FCPS Middle School students in a Splendor Tournament at KJMS - There will be food and cash prizes!!

KJMS After-School is seeking parent volunteers to help with our Academic Competition Clubs. We are in need of both 7th and 8th grade parents to work with the following clubs:
Math Counts (Mondays, 2:30-4:30)
Science Olympiad (Thursdays, 2:30-4:30)
Quiz Bowl (Fridays, 2:30-3:30)
