PTA Meeting Recap

Our first meeting was filled with new faces and energy for the coming school year. If you missed it, check out the highlights:

  • Introduction to the board and school administration.
  • Overview of upcoming events including movie night, the school musical, and teacher appreciation activities.
  • Highlights of volunteer opportunities (both one-time and ongoing) and open committee positions. Check out our volunteer survey to get involved.
  • Adoption of this year’s budget.

Check out our schedule for after school enrichment classes.

Registration closes on Sunday, September 29.

NOTE: Classes have a minimum enrollment, and we have several classes that need additional enrollments in order to proceed:

Scratch Jr. Coding K-2nd

Fun in Art 2nd-6th

Bop & Groove K-6th

STEM: Time Travelers K-4th

Canvas and Clay 4th-6th

Limited financial aid opportunities are available for those who qualify. Please indicate your request when you register.

Classes begin on October 8.

In recognition of International Happiness at Work Week, let's stock the teachers lounge with snacks and drinks.

You can purchase items from our Amazon wish list and either deliver them to the office or ship directly to the school.

Items due by Friday, Sept 27. Lounge will be stocked on Monday, Sept 30.

Join a STEM Club

Calling for students, club coaches, and volunteers.

STEM Clubs foster ingenuity and creativity, encourage experimentation, inspire problem-solving, and contribute to society.

Food 4 Thought

Food 4 Thought is a PTA-sponsored initiative to help students in need with healthy, shelf-stable food for the weekends and school-day snacks.

Volunteer: Help deliver food bags and snacks to classrooms. Sign up here. 

We are in need of volunteers to deliver food bags Tuesday, October 1 and Wednesday, October 2.

Donate to our Pantry: Check out our Amazon wish list. Donations can be dropped off in the box outside the main office, or Amazon purchases can be shipped directly to the school (choose the Food 4 Thought gift registry address).

Specific pantry items needed include:

  • Gift cards to grocery stores, Costco, or Amazon
  • Shelf-stable white milk (single servings)
  • Fruit cups and applesauce
  • Instant oatmeal packets or single-serve cereal
  • Tuna salad and cracker kits
