Blue Star Welcome Week
Blue Star Welcome Week September 21-29
Wear Blue on Monday, September 23rd to Show Your
Support for the Military-Connected Families
in the Dranesville Community
Blue Star Welcome Week is a nationwide initiative to ensure military families feel a sense of belonging to their school communities. There are approximately 13,500 military-connected students enrolled in FCPS. Our goal is to create a sense of belonging and ensure our military families feel celebrated and welcomed at Dranesville.
As part of our continued commitment to our military-connected students and families, we look forward to hosting "Brewing Joy" breakfast on Monday, September 23rd. Breakfast will be served for military-connected families from 8:30-9:00 am.
Additionally, we welcome military-connected families in the Dranesville community to submit photos of you and your family to celebrate and honor you at our Veteran’s Day Celebration on November 8th. Please submit your information here.
Please help us welcome our military families during Blue Star Welcome Week, September 21 - September 29, 2024, and throughout the year! #BlueStarWelcomeWeekFCPS #DranesvilleCARES
