PeP Rally

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We ended last week with our first school-spirited Pep Rally and Block Party! It was a fantastic way to show our spirit! Grade levels showed their spirit with their own grade level cheers and shared examples of how they use their Portrait of a Graduate Skill!

We will continue to celebrate how fantastic Spring Hill is. Stay tuned for how we to plan on celebrating our Blue Ribbon Award for Academic Excellence!

Hispanic

We have also  been celebrating National Hispanic Heritage month this past week through Hispanic songs and music in our front lobby to learning about the various celebrations and traditions in the classrooms. We will continue to enjoy learning about the histories and cultures who trace their heritage to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Amy Briggs

spirit wear

The Spring Hill PTO has partnered with Mabel's Labels to make labeling easy for you. Plus, when you purchase from Mabel’s Labels, the PTO receives a portion of the proceeds. It’s a win-win!

To ensure that our PTO gets credit for your labels make sure you enter “Spring Hill Elementary School PTO (McLean)” in the "Support a Fundraiser" section of the Mabel's labels Web site - you can also enter “Spring Hill Elementary School PTO (McLean)” at checkout in the Support a Fundraiser bar.  Click the "Mabel's Labels" button below to get started.

Since anything with a label that ends up in the lost and found will be returned to your child at school, please label all water bottles and outerwear, as well as hoodies and sweatshirts, even for older kids.  And make sure to label your new spirit wear too!
