People on Virginia's DD Waivers Waiting List

Navigating Virginia's developmental disability (DD) system can be challenging. That's why every year, DBHDS sends a notice to Virginians on the Waiting List ("the Waitlist") for Home and Community-Based Services Developmental Disability Waivers (DD Waivers) about the Individual and Family Support Program (IFSP), and other supports and services that may help you while you wait for a DD Waiver.   

The information below is provided to help you in your journey. We hope this makes it easier to understand the resources, supports, and services that the Commonwealth offers!

IFSP-Funding Program Announcement

In September, IFSP will make an official announcement on our email list with more detailed information about the Funding Program. If you are not subscribed to our email list, it's not too late!

The IFSP-Funding Program expects to accept applications between the following dates:

Tuesday, October 15th through Wednesday, November 13th

Reminder: To be eligible to apply for IFSP-Funding, individuals must be on the Virginia DD Waivers Waiting List, and be living in their own homes or in a family home.
