KJMS Model UN has 2 different programs this year:
KJMUN (KJMS 7th Grade students) is an introduction to Model UN that meets on Mondays. Students will learn foundational skills that will prepare them for future conferences. KJMUN students will participate in the KJ MUN and TJ MUN Conferences in March and April.
KJMUN will meet this coming Monday, September 16th.
Conference Model UN (KJMS 8th Grade Students) is our advanced Model UN club that meets on Wednesdays. Students will complete an application to gain entry into Conference Model UN. Students who are accepted will have the chance to attend the George Washington University MUN Conference in December, the WIlliam and Mary MUN Conference in March and the TJ MUN Conference in April.
Conference Model UN will meet this coming Wednesday, September 18th to work on the application process.
KJMS After-School is seeking parent volunteers to help with our Academic Competition Clubs. We are in need of both 7th and 8th grade parents to work with the following clubs:
Math Counts (Mondays, 2:30-3:30)
KJMUN (Mondays, 2:30-3:30)
Conference Model UN (Wednesdays, 2:30-4:00)
Science Olympiad (Thursdays, 2:30-4:00)
Quiz Bowl (Fridays, 2:30-3:30)
