JOIN the PTSA to support our FHS teachers, students and community!  Your member dues and donations work to fund all of our activities and programs, help keep you engaged and informed about what is happening in our school community and provide opportunities to get involved if your time permits.  

Parent/Adult: $20, Teacher/Staff: $12, FHS Student: $8.


PTSA No-Fuss Fundraiser, Donate Today!

Support our FHS Students and Teachers with your generous donations! Our No-Fuss Fundraiser has a goal of $2200 to fully fund the  proposed 24-25 PTSA budget.  The Parent, Teacher, Student Association supports FHS students and teachers through financing events amd  supporting wellness, diversity, and volunteerism. The PTSA rewards academic achievement, offers student scholarships, funds classroom grants, puts on teacher appreciation events, and supports the FHS Food Bank. 

We rely entirely on membership dues and donations to fund the PTSA budget, and as a 501(c)3, your donation is tax-deductible. For details on how the funds are spent, see the proposed budget HERE

Mock SAT (digital) / Mock ACT (paper)

On Saturday, September 21, 2024 the FHS Academic Boosters will partner with Applerouth Tutoring to offer the Mock SAT (digital format) and the Mock ACT (paper format) exams.

This is a perfect opportunity for students who haven’t started their testing to become familiar with the format in a stress-free environment at FHS for only $25. Students will receive detailed score reports to help them determine which areas they need to study.

 

Mock (digital) SAT registration (limited to 75)

Test Time: Saturday, September 21st, 9:00am – 11:45am

Students must be from FCPS and bring a fully charged FCPS computer

Back to School Night

Come out and hear us ROAR at the Fairfax High School Back to School Night!  We will be hosting families on Wednesday, September 18th, to connect as a community as well as showcase our teachers and curriculum in each class.

The main event is from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, where families will move through a schedule of their child’s classes, meeting each teacher and learning about each class.  Prior to the main event, there will be some community building events for everyone starting at 5:30 pm. Come visit the PTSA table to learn more about FHS, how to support our students and teachers, and the All Night Grad celebration planned for the class of ‘25!

Please make sure to review your child’s schedule prior to Back to School Night to follow this bell schedule.
