A message From The New Principal
Dear Rachel Carson Community,
I am so honored to be joining the Carson community as your new principal. As a parent whose daughter attended Rachel Carson, I have a deep appreciation for the school’s commitment to providing a high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
Before coming to Rachel Carson, I served as principal at Forestville Elementary and previously worked at Langston Hughes Middle School for about 10 years. I am a firm believer in the power of collaboration and partnership. I look forward to working closely with our dedicated teachers and staff, students, families, and community members to create a positive and inclusive learning community.
I want to thank Ms. Miley, the administrative team, and the entire Carson staff for all of their hard work to ensure that we had a great start to the school year. I am excited to build upon the great history here and continue to make Rachel Carson a place where each student has a solid foundation for their future.
I will be hosting a principal's Meet and Greet for our families in the near future and look forward to seeing you there and at our school events.
