 Our lions had a fantastic 1st week of school! Thank you for all the support making the successful and positive - the best is yet to come. Last week, our 1st - 6th graders met Mrs. Castillo & Ms. Ulsh in a ROAR assembly introducing school expectations. Then, on Friday our 4th - 6th graders enjoyed a visit from our Marshall High School musicians who dazzled the audience with their talents and encouraged our students to participate in band, strings, and chorus.
This Thursday, lions will have the opportunity to show their school spirit by wearing navy & yellow, Lemon Road polos, or spirit wear for our first "Freaky Friday". If your child has an August birthday, please reach out to your classroom teacher about bringing a small food treat to celebrate them. Beginning in September, room parents will help coordinate class celebrations. Please remember that food treats are only permitted on Freaky Fridays.
Finally, Wednesday, September 4 is Back to School Night. Read on for details. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning!

Apply for Free and Reduced-Priced Meals: The application for free and reduced-priced meals is now available for the 2024-25 school year.
Give Consent for Digital Resources for Your Child: Student consent forms previously available on ParentVue have been moved to the Parent Digital Consent System (PDC).
Back to School Night is on Wednesday, September 4 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. This is an adult-only event where parents & guardians are invited to informative sessions run by each classroom teacher (5:30 - 6:10 and 6:45 - 7:25) and visit with our specialists and student leadership sponsors from 6:10 - 6:40. Please mark your calendars!

- We are one week into our Armchair Fundraiser - and so far we have raised $5000! Great work Lions! We will announce our 1st student reward "Pajama Day" this week (will be after Labor Day). If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, please help us “fill the pot” to fund our PTA Programs this year such as bus costs for field trips, student scholarships, assemblies, updating technology and more!
