Happy FriYAY from Westbriar Elementary

Freaky FriYAY - Westbriar Spirit Day

Dear Westbriar Families,

Thank you for an amazing first week of school! We are so excited to see our students back and full of energy.

Tomorrow is our first Freak FriYAY of the year, which will serve as a monthly spirit day. Typically, Freak FriYAY falls on the last Friday of the month, but since students do not have school next Friday, we’re celebrating tomorrow. Students are encouraged to show their TEAM SPIRIT by wearing a t-shirt or jersey that represents their favorite team. This can include a sport they participate in as well. Don’t worry if you don’t have a specific sports team shirt or jersey—students can also show their TEAM Westbriar Pride by wearing Westbriar Spiritwear or school colors (burgundy and/or white).

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing weekly updates in a newsletter format titled the Westbriar Weekly. These updates will highlight important information and school events.

To help plan for our school’s childcare needs during Early Release Mondays, please complete this form for each of your children enrolled at Westbriar Elementary: Early Release Monday Childcare Form.

Also, please complete the short survey below to help us match your skills and interests with our upcoming events or areas of need. We are excited to offer the 2-Hour Power Volunteer Program, where you can contribute just two hours of your time to support our school community: 2-Hour Power Volunteer Survey.

Imagine the magic we can create at Westbriar if each family donates just 2 hours of their time—that’s over 1,700 hours of support!

Thank you for your continued support, and be on the lookout for the first edition of the Westbriar Weekly!

Warm regards,

Dr. Sallie Burch
