Middle School Back to School Night
Thursday, September 19th
We want to invite you to attend our upcoming Back to School Night events to meet your student's teachers. See schedule of events below.
5:00PM – 5:55PM: ‘Ram Mall’ in the Gold Cafeteria. At Ram Mall we will have the sale of Robinson clothing, PTSO/booster memberships & other Robinson items.
Starting at 6pm - Meet your student's teachers by following their schedule.
Parental Consent Required for Selected Digital Resources
At Robinson Secondary School, our teachers will use a variety of digital resources to support student learning and promote communication and collaboration with students and families. Some digital resources — those that collect any student data or from vendors who have not established a formal contract with FCPS — cannot be used by students until we obtain consent from their guardian.
You can find the list of the resources that require parent/caregiver consent here on the Digital Resources-Parent Consent webpage. FCPS’ Digital Resources page provides additional information.
The Digital Resources-Parent Consent page has a link to the Digital Consent System, where the parent/caregiver will need to indicate whether or not their student is allowed to use the list of digital resources this year. You will need to access the form using your SIS ParentVUE username and password.
The Digital Resources page also highlights how FCPS carefully reviews digital resources and why we must obtain your consent before using certain tools. We encourage you to complete the Parental Consent for Digital Resources form as soon as possible, as your child will not be able to use the digital resources until we have received your permission.
Please reach out to Nathan Poumade (njpoumade@fcps.edu) or Elizabeth Joyce (eajoyce@fcps.edu), if you have questions or concerns.

PE Uniform Information and Ordering
The expectation for the 2024-2025 school year is that Physical Education and Personal Fitness students will use their assigned locker room to change into safe, comfortable clothing for the class period. We prefer and recommend Robinson athletic wear. The HPE department has set up a site where you can purchase Robinson Athletic wear to be ready for class activity (please see link below). Proper footwear is required for PE class. Crocs, slippers, etc. are not permitted. Students must wear shoes that enable them to participate fully every day. Students will be given the opportunity to lock their belongings within the locker room for their class period. Student’s belongings, including backpacks, laptops, etc. will be left in the locker room unless directed by the teacher. Students must have a master lock to lock items. This can be brought from home or purchased through the 2024-2025 PE site.
Middle school students must lock their phones in pouches in their PE lockers during the class period.
