Georgetown Pike Bridge Traffic Shift - Major Traffic Impacts

“Stay-Away” August 23-26

As part of the 495 Express Lanes Northern Extension (495 NEXT) project, a new Georgetown Pike Bridge over I-495 is being built in phases to keep traffic moving throughout construction. Over the weekend of August 23-26, all travel lanes on Georgetown Pike Bridge will be shifted to a new northern portion of the bridge so that work can begin on a new southern portion. Drivers are advised to stay away from the vicinity of the Georgetown Pike and I-495 interchange all weekend, as lanes will be reduced and Beltway ramps closed with detours in place.

Emergency Care Form, Health Information Form

The goal of the health room is to ensure your student experiences a healthy and safe school year. To proactively plan, we ask that parents/guardians complete the Online/Verification Update packet in SIS ParentVUE to include emergency contact information, Health Information Forms, and Emergency Care Forms. The Online Verification Update (OVU) packet allows parents to review and update phone numbers, emergency contacts, and health information (such as health conditions and immunizations) for students in grades PS/HS and kindergarten through 12th grade. The enrolling parent will be able to access OVU through their SIS ParentVUE account. OVU will be available on July 29th. To assist you, follow this link to the site.

Please update no later than September 6, 2024.
