Back to School Night Information

📆Tuesday, August 27, 6:15-7:45 pm for grades 1, 2, 3, and 5 📆

📆Wednesday, August 28, 6:15-7:45 pm for grades K, 4, and 6 📆 

Back-to-School Night provides parents an opportunity to meet teachers and learn about classroom routines and the grade level curriculum. This event is for Parents Only. Because time is very limited, Back-to-School Night is not an appropriate time to discuss an individual student’s progress.  

Welcome Back from Our School Board Members

The focus of Back to School Night is for you to hear about your children's classes from their teachers.  We will also have Floris administration and specialists available in person, and since they aren't able to be at every Back to School Night event, our school board members have recorded the following messages to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year:

Melanie Meren, Hunter Mill District School Board Member 

Seema Dixit, Sully District School Board Member

Parking and Entrance

  • Please park in the side parking lot (by the blacktop/ playground/fire station)

  • Enter through Door 6, through the Cafeteria
