We had a fantastic time seeing families during our Open House and Back to School Presentations last week! It was wonderful to see the excitement as students and families met their teachers and reconnected with friends. We can’t wait to welcome our students tomorrow morning for the first day of the 2024-25 school year!
Doors will open for students at 8:25 AM, with our bell schedule running from 8:50 AM to 3:30 PM each day. Families, thank you for taking the time to review arrival and dismissal procedures with your children. Our goal is to begin reinforcing routines and procedures right from day one. However, family members are welcome to walk students to class on Monday and Tuesday as needed.
If your child is a bus rider, we strongly encourage them to start taking the bus from the first day of school. This helps establish a consistent routine from the beginning.
Thank you for your support, and we’re looking forward to a great year ahead!

Parents who wish to utilize Kiss N' Ride will enter the parking lot off of Thompson Rd. After entering the parking lot, cars will proceed up to the door next to the gym and SACC. Staff members will be there to assist. Students will depart from their cars and head into the building. Cars will then loop back around and exit back onto Thompson Rd. Cars will not be able to continue through the parking lot towards West Ox Rd. Cars will not be able to park in the bus loop or the staff parking lot along West Ox Rd.
If a student’s bus is delayed, parents may access the Bus Delay Notification System or use the Here Comes the Bus mobile app to receive the delayed bus report. Email messages will be sent to announce significant bus delays. Contact the Transportation Office at [703-249-7100] with any additional questions. For any concerns after hours (after 5:30 p.m.), contact Safety and Security at 571-423-2000.
To make sure you receive email messages about bus delays, update your contact information in SIS ParentVUE.
