Dear Brookfield Families,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! Teachers returned to school yesterday and can’t wait to see our students and their families on Friday at the Open House event! We are also finalizing class lists, and you should hear from us on Wednesday afternoon regarding your child’s homeroom teacher this year.
We also wanted to share information about the Magic School Bus and the Schedule for Open House.

Tuesday, August 13: Chantilly Pyramid Magic School Bus Supplies Event
This evening staff members from Chantilly Pyramid Schools will be riding a Magic School Bus to distribute school supplies to our students.
The Magic School Bus will be making stops at the following locations at the following times:
-
Brookfield ES Parking Lot- 5:00-5:30
-
Chantilly Mews- 5:40-6:10
-
Fields of Chantilly- 6:15-6:45
Brookfield will also be distributing school supplies to our students at our Open House Event on Friday. We want to make sure everyone has what they need to learn this year!
Friday, August 16th: Open House Event for ALL Students
Bring your child to meet their teacher, see their classmates, and drop off school supplies in their classrooms during our annual Open House event. We’ll have our PTA and other community organizations in the cafeteria sharing information about their programs. Here are the times for each grade level to attend:
- 1st and 2nd Grade: 9:00 – 9:45
- 3rd and 4th Grade: 10:00 – 10:45
- Kindergarten: 12:00 – 1:00
- 5th and 6th Grade: 1:15 – 2:00
Monday, August 19th: First Day of School
Please make sure your child knows how they are going home on the first day.
Thank You for the Welcome Back Breakfast
We want to express our sincere thanks for all of the delicious food our community brought for our teachers’ Welcome Back Breakfast sponsored by the PTA. It was a lovely event and we are grateful for the many ways our community shows support and kindness to our school staff. Thank you!
