A Message from the Principal

Greetings, Irving Families!

We look forward to welcoming students back in just a few days. Our staff returns on Monday and we are eager to meet you on Thursday, August 15, at our Open House. As you read through this newsletter, we are providing information about Middle School Sports, our Kiss and Ride, and a few other pieces of information to get you started.

As we look toward the start of the school year, we need your help! We want to make sure we start the year with the most recent information for your child. Please help us by logging into ParenVue and completing the beginning of the year Online Verification Update (OVU). There are several optional forms on the website such as FCPS Privacy and Opt-Out forms, FLE Opt-Out forms, and the Medication Authorization form, among others; please make sure to fill out the forms that apply to you and bring them with you to our Open House.

Lastly, the picture above is of our Kiss and Ride. Please make sure you take a look at the directions for Kiss and Ride drop off and pick up below so you are prepared when school starts. As you will read below, we thank you in advance for packing your patience!

Take Care!

Cindy Conley
