Volunteer Opportunities

School supply kits have arrived!  We need adult helpers to sort and deliver kits to classrooms on Tuesday from 8/13 from 1:30-4pm.   You may bring your children with you if they are able to help sort and deliver.  Please email Diana Hiltbrand at dmhiltbrand@gmail.com to offer assistance.  We'd be happy to have you join for all or part of the time window.  High schoolers interested in service hours may also volunteer.

Class Assignments

You will receive a welcome email from your child's homeroom teacher on Tuesday, August 13th by 4:00 pm.  If you do not receive it, please call the school on August 14th at 703-467-3500 and we will be happy to find that information for you.  It will also be visible in Parent Vue on the 15th.  If you are a bus rider, transportation will send out an email by early next week to let you know when your stop and route information is available in Parent Vue.

Open House

Join us for Open House on Thursday, August 15th.  This is a chance to see the school and meet your new teacher.  This is a drop in and out event for families.  Students with last names from A-K will come from 9-9:45 am. Students with last names from L-M will come from 10:30-11:15.

From 10:00-10:30, we will have a New Family Orientation in the cafeteria for all families new to the school (Kindergarten and grades 1-6).

Returning Students: Don't forget to complete our Summer Learning POG Bingo Board and bring it to Open House, or the first week of school for a prize!!!

Student Online Verification/Update (OVU)

Please verify your child's information using the Online Verification/Update (OVU) packet available in ParentVUE. The OVU packet allows the enrolling parent to electronically update phone numbers, emergency contacts, health conditions, and new immunizations dates for their students via ParentVUE.  For detailed information on how to use the OVU system, please click here.  Every family will need to verify that their information is correct no later than September 3rd.
