We're excited to kick-off a new school year with LOTS of great after school activities for students. See below for a few important announcements and action items, so that your Jackson Tiger is ready to participate from the start!
After a successful first season in existence, the cross-country coaches are now accepting registrations for this year's team. Students who want to participate must have completed the following steps before they may attend the first practice on September 9th:
1. Complete and submit the FCPS MS Athletics Registration form.
2. Complete and turn in* the Middle School Athletics Physical Form.
3. Complete and turn in* the Emergency Care Form.
*The forms from steps 2 and 3 should be turned in to Mr. Max Bair, the Athletics Coordinator, by dropping it off in his classroom (Quad 4) or giving it to the main office staff to place in his mailbox.

Week One of After-School will be reserved for Cross Country practice, students who want to meet with teachers, and an activity fair, where students can check out the wide variety of clubs and activities available this year. The full schedule of clubs and activities will start on Monday, September 16th.
All students who stay after school FOR ANY REASON must have completed the 2024-2025 After-School Registration/Consent Form before staying. Please complete that form now!
Are you new to Jackson, and have questions about how After-School works, or what MS Athletics is all about? Would you rather ask a person some questions than try to find answers on the school website? Then this presentation is for you!
Come to Tiger Time (on Thursday, August 15th from 1-5pm) and plan to stop by the Auditorium at 4:00pm for a short presentation, followed by an opportunity for Q & A with long time After-School Program Specialist Matt Hoffert. You won't want to miss this!
