Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to welcome you and your child(ren) to a new school year filled with growth, learning, and fun! We are eager to partner with you to create a positive and supportive learning environment for your child.
To kick off the school year, we have planned several events to help you and your child feel welcomed and prepared:

Kindergarten Popsicles at the Playground: Monday, August 12th from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of popsicles and playground activities to meet other kindergarten families and staff.

Class Assignments: Teachers will send out class assignments on Tuesday, August 13th, late afternoon.

Open House: Friday, August 16th from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Come tour your child's classroom, meet their teacher, and learn more about the upcoming school year.

First Day of School: Monday, August 19th. We can't wait to see our students!

Back to School Night: Tuesday, September 10th, 5:30 – 7:30 PM. This evening event will provide an opportunity to learn more about your child's curriculum, meet their teachers, and ask questions.
The county has identified 7 early release Mondays during the 2024-25 school year in elementary schools so teachers can participate in professional development. These early releases will be 3 hours; students will be dismissed at 1:05 PM on the following dates:
- September 16
- October 21
- November 18
- February 10
- March 10
- April 21
- May 12
