With the retirements of Mr. Sanabria and Mr. Wolin, we have a few changes on the CVHS administrative team outlined below.
- Mr. Mike Parker, current assistant principal at CVHS, is transitioning to the Director of Student Activities role on Aug 1st replacing Mr. Sanabria. Mr. Parker will now be supervising the athletics and activities programs.

Ms. Kristin Girardin has been selected as our new Director of Student Services replacing Mr. Wolin. Ms. Girardin was the middle school Director of Student Services at Lake Braddock Secondary School. Prior to that, she was a school counselor in New York before moving to FCPS and becoming a counselor at Lake Braddock where she has been for 14 years. She completed her Bachelors in psychology at the University of Buffalo, Masters in school counseling at Hofstra, and her Education Specialist degree in Admin and Supervision from Queens College. Kristin brings a wealth of experience and passion to the position, and she is excited to join the Wildcats!

Mr. Montell Brown has been selected as our new Assistant Principal replacing Mr. Parker. Mr. Brown is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and UVA for graduate school. He first taught in Philadelphia before moving to FCPS where he taught social studies at Liberty Middle School. He subsequently became the Dean of Students at Liberty and CVHS working alongside the admin team. Mr. Brown develops positive relationships, sets high expectations, communicates effectively including speaking Spanish, and he demonstrates strong leadership skills. He knows the Centreville pyramid well. Mr. Brown is extremely excited to join CVHS in this role! He will start in the position on Aug 1.

We have hired two new school counselors for this school year, and we are working to hire for a remaining vacancy. With the new counselor hires and the yearly balancing of caseloads, there are some changes to counselor alpha assignments. The student services team will work very closely together to ease the transition and help ensure student and family needs are met. You can see the sub school and counselor assignments below and at this link. We will provide further information when we hire the remaining counselor.
