Important Staff Announcement
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of our esteemed Assistant Principal, Marc Brooks, who will be leaving Woodson High School to accept an assistant principal position in Prince William County. Mr. Brooks’ last day will be Friday, June 28th.
Mr. Brooks has been an integral part of our school community for the past six years, and his impact on our students, staff, and programs has been nothing short of extraordinary. His dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on our school. During his tenure at Woodson High School, Mr. Brooks has served in multiple roles, including dean and assistant principal, each time bringing his unique blend of leadership and passion to the forefront.
Mr. Brooks has served as the administrator for ESOL, World Languages, Social Studies, Fine & Performing Arts, CSS, Security, Attendance, and our Clinic. His versatility and ability to contribute to numerous aspects of our school's operations have been truly commendable.
We are immensely grateful for the positive changes and initiatives he has championed, which have enriched the educational experience for our students and supported our staff in countless ways. We will miss Mr. Brooks’ sense of humor and calm demeanor most of all.
