Fairfax County Public Schools is providing free meals this summer to all children and teens 18 and under at select schools.

The meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), or disability. 

The breakfast menu includes milk (fat-free or 1 percent), fruit (apple, orange, or banana), and cereal (Cheerios, Chex, or reduced-sugar Cinnamon Toast Crunch).

Lunch items vary throughout the week. Examples include a sandwich or build-your-pizza, fruit, a raw vegetable, and milk.

Parklawn ES will be a meal site July 8-26.  Breakfast will be served 9-10 a.m.; lunch is noon-1 p.m. Meals will not be served on July 4 and 5.

Get a head start on planning, and support our PTA, by ordering your student's school supplies through Campus Survival.  No need to spend time running to multiple stores and fighting crowds-- Campus Survival has put together all of the supplies your student will need for the 2024-25 school year. Plus, a portion of the price for each kit will come to our Parklawn PTA to support programs for families, students, and staff next year.
