Principals' Message
Dear Gunston Families,
We hope you are enjoying your summer so far and are finding ways to rest, relax, and refresh with friends and family. Our summer office hours are 9:00am - 2:00pm daily, except for holidays. If you need to come at a time outside of that window, please call the school and we can schedule an appointment for you. We look forward to connecting with our families over the summer, please stay tuned for future News You Choose (Gunston Gazette) for dates in August.

No-cost breakfast and lunch
During summer break, no-cost breakfast and lunch are available to all children 18 years of age and younger at FCPS sites across the county. Please access this link to find a meal site near you.
School Supply Lists
School supply lists may be accessed from the Gunston website using this link.
Additionally, the Gunston PTA offers families the option to purchase a School Supply kit that will be delivered directly to your child's classroom
Summer Reading
Students will still have access to digital reading resources, as well as community resources. Take a look at the list below to book your summer:

The Fairfax County Public Library has tons of print, audio, and Ebook options. Go to the website on your computer or download the Libby by Overdrive app on your tablet or phone.

MyOn has many books at a variety of levels, including many chapter books.
- Students log in with their FCPS username and password.

Tumblebooks has a variety of levels, including many chapter books.
- After signing in, click on the ebook tab for chapter bookss.

MackinVia is a collection of FCPS ebooks and audiobooks.
- Students log in with their FCPS username and password.
ST Math

In addition to the information listed below, it is recommended that students who are moving from a standard level math class to an honors level math class have their ST Math journey reassigned to the next grade level.
