Floris Families,
We are so excited to see everyone next Friday for Open House.
Here are some important items to note:

Purpose:
- Open House includes both students and parents and is a time to meet your teachers and see your classroom.
- Please remember that this Open House will not be the time for a parent-teacher conference.
- We will have the cafeteria set up with information tables where staff members can assist with beginning of the year sign ups for SIS ParentVue accounts, News You Choose communications, Kiss and Ride registration, Digital Permissions, and language support services. You can sign up ahead of time with this link!

Parking:

Parking is very limited at Floris. We ask that you are here only during the designated session time (see times below) to allow parking for others.
- Community members have reached out to Floris to ask that we remind parents not to park on private property while attending school events or at arrival/dismissal. We ask if you are parking behind the school that you are not blocking anyone's driveway, you are at least 15 feet from the fire hydrant, and you are not on anyone's private property or on the sidewalk. Please be respectful of others' homes and property.

Navigation:
- Everyone will enter Open House at Door 1 (Main Entrance) and exit Door 6 (cafeteria) to visit information tables and to help aid traffic flow within the building.
- Floris Staff will be wearing blue Floris shirts so families can easily identify staff members.
We can't wait to see everyone at Floris next Friday for Open House.
Open House Schedule Reminder:
- 9:00-9:45am: Grades 1-6, Last Name Starts with A-K
- 10:15-10:45am: Kindergarten- all K students
- 11:00-11:45am: Grades 1-6, Last Name Starts with L-Z
Back To School Nights for parents only to learn information about the grade level/class expectations and curriculum will be happening the week of August 26th. Please watch for more details soon!
