Forestville Summer Office Hours 

Our office will be open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (June 18th - August 5th). If you need an afternoon appointment please email jmwright1@fcps.edu

Regular office hours will resume August 6th 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

School Supplies

📝School Supplies - Order by July 1st

The PTA is partnering with 1st Day School Supplies again this year! You can purchase all of your students' school supplies with one click AND have them delivered directly to Forestville!

The deadline to order is JULY 1st!

🏫Rising Kindergarten Registration

If you have a rising Kindergarten student, please fill out this new student intake form to begin the registration process. If you have a neighbor or friend with a child who will be turning five on or before September 30th, please pass along this information!

MathOlympiads

Math Olympiads

Since 1979 Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMSⓇ)  has been providing challenging and thought-provoking mathematical problems designed to strengthen student’s mathematical skills.  Participants in Math Olympiads are in all fifty states, three US territories and in thirty foreign countries.  In all, this year we have 4,061 teams and approximately 90,000 participants.  

Students who earned awards rank among the best mathematicians in their divisions nationally and internationally.

Several students from Forestville participated in the Math Olympiads program under the supervision and coaching of our teachers.

 

Justin He & Jennifer Xia scored within the top 2% of students nationwide and internationally.

Several other students scored within the top 3-10%.

Most of our FES students scored within the top 20-30% earning an embroidered patch.  

 

The Forestville team was named to the MOEMSⓇ High Achievement list for scoring in the top 20% off all participating schools.

The Forestville 5AAP team was recognized with the Meritorious Achievement Award for scoring in the top 20% of all participating grade level teams in the country and internationally.
