🐝Hornet Happenings

hellow summer

And with that, the 2023-2024 school year has come to a close! Happy Summer Break! Enjoy this time with your loved ones, embark on new adventures, and create lasting memories. Remember to prioritize self-care and relaxation. Be safe and make the most of this well-deserved break.

As we reach this milestone, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support, dedication, and partnership throughout the school year. Your trust, collaboration, and involvement in your child's education have been invaluable and played a crucial role in their success. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside you in maximizing student potential.

As shared in my previous message, I have accepted another principal assignment. I will also have the opportunity to take on some lead principal projects and will be closer to home. What a bittersweet time it has been, savoring those last special moments with the most amazing students and staff. I have been deeply touched by the messages and responses I have received over the last week, and I appreciated every hug, sweet treat, card, and kind message from our students.

I cannot begin to tell you all how much this community and the privilege of serving it has meant to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your partnership, support, and love. Serving as the principal of Halley has been one of the most important educator identities in my career, and I will hold each of you in my heart forever.  Once a Hornet…Always a Hornet!

Blessings and Joy,

Mrs. Peerman, Principal
