Centreville High School is excited to offer our wildCat Connections orientation program to rising 9th grade students this summer. This is an optional program designed and taught by Centreville High School staff members and student leaders to provide students with an opportunity to explore the building, meet classmates, and participate in interactive team building activities to help with a successful transition to high school.

The program will be held at Centreville High School on August 7. The time of the program will be 9:00 AM - 2:45 PM each day. We will have lunch available in the cafeteria, or students may bring their lunch.

Registration:

  • Register by June 26th to allow for proper planning

Transportation:

  • We are planning for bus transportation to be available from local elementary pick-up sites, and we will provide more bus details at a later date.

We look forward to meeting your child this summer.  We are confident that your student’s experience in the wildCat Connections program will help lead to a positive and successful start to the freshman school year.

There will also be a 9th grade orientation during the week of August 15th where students will follow their class schedule and meet their teachers.  More details about this event and the final date will be provided later this spring.

Wildcat Band looking for Donations of Unused Phones

The Wildcat Band is looking for donations of unused phones for students without a device. Donated phones will allow students to access the Ultimate Drill Book app this summer and fall. Marching Band students learn the drill (the movements on the field that make up the halftime show) using this amazing app, as it provides a wealth of information! Sometimes, students need to borrow a phone so it's good to have a few extra on hand. If you or someone you know has an extra phone that you would be willing to donate, the band would greatly appreciate it!

Requirements:

iPad 2017 or later

iPhone 7 or later

Android phones or tablets running Android 7.1 or later

Please bring any donations to the main office at CVHS, ATTN: Melissa Hall, Band Director. Or you can send them in with your student and they can bring them to the band room. Thank you!
