Congratulations Hayfield Secondary, Class of 2024!
Congratulations to our Island Creek Alumni who graduated Monday morning from Hayfield Secondary!
We loved having our graduates visit on Tuesday morning for a clap out, sharing their favorite memory from Island Creek and future plans, and playing kickball on the staff team!

Blue Star Museum Program for Military Connected Families
The summer months present opportunities to connect and explore with your family and friends! Virginia and the surrounding areas provide many great indoor and outdoor adventures, especially for our military-connected families!
In collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense, more than 2,000 museums across the country are offering free admission to active-duty, National Guard, and Reserve personnel and their families. Military-connected families can visit sites such as the National Building Museum in DC, the Woodlawn and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Pope-Leighey House in Alexandria, the B&O Museum in Baltimore, the Annapolis Maritime Museum, and many more!

Every Kid Outdoors Program for 4th Grade Students and Their Families
Every Kid Outdoors is an initiative where fourth grade students and their families can gain free entrance to parks, lands, and waters. Visit the Rules and Instructions web page for more information.
Museums for All
The Museums for All program provides free or reduced admission to museums throughout the United States for families with a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer card (SNAP EBT). Browse the full list of participating museums.

Can you believe school ended this week? This year has gone by so fast, but it was full of fun and community spirit!
We wanted to share with you what we accomplished this year. Take a moment to review our 2023-2024 year in the review document shown below. We've summarized what and how much we've raised and what we spent it on.
We also held elections on Tuesday, June 4, and elected our 2024-2025 Executive Board. See below for our election results and a letter from the 2023-2024 Executive Board. The new Executive Board will meet over the summer to develop the budget and plan the events we'll hold, so please complete our feedback survey to let us know what's most important to you!
