Dear Families,
As we reach the conclusion of the 2023-2024 school year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for your unwavering support and dedication. This year has been remarkable, filled with numerous achievements and milestones that we celebrate with our students.
Your partnership has been instrumental in our success. We have focused on nurturing the whole child, emphasizing not only academic growth but also social and emotional development. Our implementation of the Second Step program has been transformative, providing our students with essential skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
Additionally, our school-wide behavioral program, Cheetah P.R.I.D.E (Positive Role Model, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Effort), has been a cornerstone of our community. We consistently use this motto to recognize and praise students when they demonstrate these values. We encourage you to continue reinforcing these principles at home during the summer.
For those who were unable to attend Cameron’s Summer Resource Fair, please visit our school website for a variety of summer activity ideas to keep your children engaged. While it's essential for them to enjoy their summer break, we also encourage some reading and math practice to keep their skills sharp.
We wish you a wonderful, safe, and fun-filled summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in August.

📸A Look Back on the 2023-2024 School Year
We've had such a wonderful year at Cameron! It was full of events, celebrations, and community. Please enjoy looking back on this year in News You Choose photos.
🎓Congratulations, 6th Graders!
 Our 6th graders were promoted on Monday evening! There were musical performances, and students were recognized for their hard work and achievements. We will miss these 6th graders next year, but it's not goodbye, just see ya later! Once a Cameron Cheetah, always a Cameron Cheetah🐆
🌱Outdoor Classroom
 On Saturday, the Cameron community showed up to work! The Get2Green Committee hosted a clean up launch day of the Outdoor Classroom. Participants weeded the courtyard and set up gardening beds. They also brought dirt from the front of the school to the courtyard to fill in the pots to plant flowers. Our Outdoor Classroom has been a work in progress all year, and we are so excited with how it has come together. Thank you to everyone for their support!
💻Online Summer Resources

⏰☀️Summer Office Hours
From June 18 - August 2 the office hours will be Monday - Friday 9:00am-1:00pm. The office will be closed June 17, June 19, and July 3-5. We will return to normal office hours of 8:30am-5:00pm on Monday, August 5.
Rising Kindergarten Summer Assessments
 This summer, our kindergarten teachers will be hosting assessments for rising kindergarteners on Tuesday, August 6 and Wednesday, August 7 from 8:00-11:30am. These assessments will be completed in the library at Cameron and will take about 15 minutes.
