As we close the curtain on another successful year, we are incredibly grateful for your support. We know that strong schools have great partnerships between the school and families!
Your support, both inside and outside the classroom, is valued and appreciated. We extend a special thanks to our incredible families and amazing PTA. Your volunteer efforts, from supporting field trips to school events, have greatly enhanced our students' learning experiences.
Throughout the year, we focused on helping our students SOAR: prioritizing Safety in our school environment, being Open-Minded to others perspectives, being Accountable for their actions, and showing Respect for themselves and others.
Thank you for making this year a success. I wish you all a restful and joyful summer. We look forward to welcoming you back for another fantastic year of learning and growth together!
As a reminder, the last day of school this year for students will be Wednesday, June 12th. It is an early dismissal day and our students will be dismissed at 2:00pm.
The deadline to pick up student medication is Wednesday, June 12th.
All medication kept in the school health room must be picked up PRIOR to dismissal on Wednesday, June 12th (we have a 2-hour early dismissal at 2:00pm).
Any medication remaining in the health room after dismissal will be discarded.
It is FCPS policy that a parent or guardian must pick up medication, as it cannot be sent home with a student. Please contact Sara Harsher, Forestville Public Health Nurse, if you have any questions at 703-404-6010.
