for the last Parent Support Group
of the 2023-24 School Year!
Join us as we talk about the impact that events have on all our lives.
Like every other family, our families experience events which are not related to our child or children with special needs.
We have exciting, heartwarming events. We also have sad, horrible events.
The happy ones: For example, a wedding, a birth, a graduation, a promotion, a move to a new house or a new place, an inheritance, etc.
The difficult ones: For example, the loss of a loved one, a loss of income, the loss of a pet, a disaster like a flood, a fire, a car accident, robbery, assault, etc.
What events have impacted you?
Given the extra demands you experience every day, how do you deal with these other events?
We look forward to hearing what you have to share about how these events have been for you!
