As the school year comes to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on the many contributions of our dedicated staff members. It is with a mix of gratitude and sadness that we announce the departure of several esteemed staff members who will be moving on to new opportunities and adventures.
These individuals have made a significant impact on our school community, enriching the lives of our students and enhancing our school environment with their dedication, hard work, and passion. We deeply appreciate all they have given to our school and will miss their presence.

Pattie Ono (Registrar) is retiring from FCPS after 24 years of service! Congratulations, Mrs. Ono!
Linda Paladeau (Office Assistant) is retiring from FCPS and will be enjoying time with her family, friends, and grand-dogs!
Jo Wechselblatt (Family Liaison) is retiring from FCPS and is looking forward to traveling with her husband and spending time with family, friends, and her pups.
Buck Condill (Assistant Principal) is relocating to North Carolina with his family.
Shannon DiBacco (K IA) will be moving to Stuart’s Draft, VA, after living in Reston for 47 years and working at HWES for 13 years.
Shantell Russ (Counselor) is transferring to Centreville High School.
Quyen Sullivan (Special Education) is taking a leave of absence to pursue other career interests.
Amanda Tobia (Art Teacher) is relocating back to Rochester, New York, where her husband has accepted a new college coaching position. Amanda will be teaching Art in the Brighton Central School District.
Bryan Chicas (Art Teacher) is leaving education and pursuing other endeavors outside the classroom setting.
Sarah Bean (2nd Grade) is making a career change back to dance and movement education.
Karri Pacileo (2nd Grade) will be spending time with out-of-state family and pursuing other career interests.
Kim Taylor (4th Grade) has accepted an AART position at another Fairfax County Public School.
