- Summer Office Hours - 9 A.M to 1 P.M
Dear Powell Families,
THANK YOU for an incredible 2023-2024 school year! As we finish up, we would like to take a moment to express the incredible pride we have for our Pumas and the Powell community. Our students have accomplished so much! They have met academic goals, grown in their dedication and resilience, and demonstrated kindness and compassion for others time and time again. It is truly an honor to serve them and each of you as your Powell administrators.
We would also like to send a special heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS to all of our 6th grade Pumas as they head into middle school. We know that they will continue to succeed in all they do in the future! Huge thanks to our 6th grade parent committee for all of their hard work to make sure our 6th graders had a memorable celebration to end their time as elementary school students.
We wish everyone a wonderful summer break and we look forward to seeing all of our returning Pumas in the Fall!

Some parents/guardians have asked about summer access to digital basal resources such as Lexia and ST Math, as well as one of our school-based resources, Reflex Math.
All students will stop using Lexia on June 12th for the summer. Only students attending Summer SOAR or ESY will regain access to Lexia to use during their daily schedule. Here are a few at home activities students can utilize instead.
ST Math will be available for student use over the summer. Typically, class rosters stop syncing with SIS when the school year ends. Our Reflex Math subscription ends in August. Starting in school year 2024-2025 Reflex Math is no longer approved for use in FCPS.
