We are still looking for nominations for PTA officers for next year for vice president, treasurer, and secretary.
Please consider a position with the PTA so great activities and contributions to the school may continue.
Vice President - Hospitality and events act as an aide to the president leading and managing all hospitality and events such as Staff Appreciation, 7th/8th grade party etc. and perform other delegated duties as assigned.
Treasurer - Handles and oversight of all funds and finances for the local PTA, keep full financial records to include an accurate account of receipts and expenditures as directed in the bylaws. Make disbursements as authorized by the president, executive board, or general membership in accordance with the budget adopted by the general membership.
Secretary - Record the minutes of all meetings of the local PTA and perform other duties as assigned.
Parents who are interested in serving next year can email Garrett Osumah at osumah13@gmail.com. He will be happy to answers any questions as well.
Does your child still have KJMS library books to return? We are still looking for 356 overdue books. Please check your child’s backpack for any book with library labels and ask them to turn the book in ASAP! We want everyone to start the year strong next fall with NO overdue books on their accounts. Thank you for supporting your school library!
