Principal's Message |
Greetings Tiger Families!
It is hard to believe we only have eight more days of school before the 2023-24 school year is in the books. We are looking forward to continuing our catalog of year-end activities and celebrations in the coming days, including our talent show on June 6th, our 8th grade dance on June 7th, our academic awards ceremony on June 10th and our field/activity day on the last day of school – June 12th. Please note, this day is also a two-hour early release. The dance and field/activity day are student privileges we plan for our students who have already, and continue to, show their best effort in attendance, positive decision-making, and academic achievement. We are fortunate to have so many students who are committed to finishing this school year strong!
Have a wonderful weekend, Tigers.
Sincerely,
Matt

Congratulations to the Twain Music Department!
The department earned the designation of being a Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) Blue Ribbon School!
We are so proud of our Twain musicians for earning this prestigious designation as a result of their talent, time and commitment to both their individual and collective development. Thank you, Mr. Kluttz, Mr. Garfield-Levine, and Ms. Tolpa for being enthusiastic and dedicated music instructors for our students!
You may find this recent PBS interview of FCPS’ own Grammy Award winning Annie Ray, who works at Annandale High School interesting as music performances abound in schools this time of year!
