Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm
All FCPS Offices and Schools are closed on Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5, for the Independence Day Holiday.
The Floris Main Office is also closed on Tuesday, July 2, and Wednesday, July 3, for cleaning. Please leave a message and someone will return your call.

Want to cross something off of your August to-do list right now? Check out our 2024-2025 School Supply Lists, which are updated for next school year, and have one thing less to worry about at back to school time!
You can also avoid the hassle of going in person by ordering supply kits online.
Order online by July 15 to ensure that everything makes it to Floris in time!

Summer Reading Adventure- Fairfax County Public Library
The Fairfax County Public Library Summer Reading Adventure runs from June 12-August 18 this summer.

The Fairfax County Public Library has tons of print, audio, and Ebook options. Go to the website on your computer or download the Libby by Overdrive app on your tablet or phone.

MyOn has many books at a variety of levels, including many chapter books.

Mathematics Independent Learning Options for Families
ST Math

In addition to the information listed below, it is recommended that students who are moving from a standard level math class to an honors level math class have their ST Math journey reassigned to the next grade level.

October 31: End of First Quarter and Two-Hour Early Release
November 1-2: Observance Days- All Saints Day/Dia de los Muertos
