Thank you to Mrs. Sullivan's class for the amazing sidewalk chalk art to welcome students back.
We are looking forward to grade levels participating in Field Day tomorrow and Friday and Career Day on Monday.
As a reminder, Wednesday, June 12th is the last day of school and students will be dismissed at 1:30 pm.

We are looking forward to hosting Career Day on Monday, June 10th. As part of Career Day, we are excited to announce that we will be having a Fairfax County Police Department helicopter landing on school grounds at 9:00 am. All students will be outside to witness the helicopter landing from the safety of the blacktop. We hope the students will enjoy this unique opportunity.

Health Room Medication Pick Up Wed, June 12th
The school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the health room must be picked up by a parent or guardian no later than student dismissal time on the last day of school. Medication left in the health room after that time will be destroyed per policy. Medication cannot be sent home with your student. If your student will be enrolled in a summer program sponsored by FCPS, the existing medication authorization form(s) may be used for the summer program, but you will need to pick-up the medication before student dismissal time on the last day of school and deliver the medication and completed forms to the summer learning site on the first day of the summer program. If you have any questions, please contact the Health Room at 703-322-8510.
Summer Math Support
As we’re moving into the summer, if you are looking for ways to support your student’s mathematical learning, FCPS has created a page with variety of optional resources. You can view them at the link here. ST Math will continue to be available over the summer and ST Math family resources are also linked on the FCPS page.

End of Year Laptop Collection
Students are expected to return their laptops this week during the following scheduled collection days.
Please ensure your student has their laptop and charger at school and ready to turn in. Invoices will be sent for un-returned devices.
1st and 2nd grade – June 5th
3rd and 4th grade – June 6th
5th and 6th grade – June 7th
Students taking ESY/SOAR or any FCPS sanctioned summer program may keep their device for these purposes. This should be pre-arranged and documented so we are aware of which students will keep them. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student’s teacher.
