Dear Cardinal Families,

While the end of the school year is in sight, we want to emphasize that our commitment to providing a rich and engaging educational experience for your child remains our number one priority. Learning will continue until the very last day, and our teachers have planned a variety of meaningful learning opportunities to ensure that this time is both productive and enjoyable.

Your support during this period is invaluable. Encouraging your child to stay engaged and participate actively in classroom activities will help them finish the year strong!

Thank you, once again, for entrusting us with your child's education. We are honored to be part of their learning journey and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments as the school year draws to a close.

Warmly,

Allison Hoak, Principal

Jon Kemmerer, Assistant Principal

CPES

THANK YOU, CPES PTA!

As we approach the end of another school year, we wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for the PTA Board and Committee members as well as all the parents that volunteered at events throughout the year. Your incredible dedication and support throughout this year is truly appreciated.

The countless hours you've volunteered – from planning events to fundraising initiatives to simply being a listening ear – have made a significant difference in the lives of our students and staff. Beyond the events themselves, your tireless efforts fostered a strong sense of community within our school walls. You've created a space where parents, teachers, and students feel connected and supported by one another.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to enriching the educational experience of our Cardinals. We are truly fortunate to have such a passionate and dedicated PTA. On behalf of the entire school community, I extend my deepest appreciation.

💊Medication Pick Up

The school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the health room must be picked up no later than the student dismissal time on the last day of school June 12th, 2024 at 1 pm.  Medication left in the health room after that time will be destroyed. It is school policy that medications must be picked up by the parent or guardian. Medication cannot be sent home with your student. If your student will be enrolled in a summer program sponsored by Fairfax County Public Schools, the existing medication authorization form(s) may be used for the summer program, but you will need to pick up the medication on the last day of school and deliver the medication and completed forms to the summer learning site  on the first day of the summer program. Please let the health room know if you would like a copy of the form(s).
