The last day for After-School Activities will be Thursday, May 30th.  We will be hosting the KJMS "The Voice" Competition - all students are welcome to attend!

KJMS After-School is finishing up one of our most successful years!  We were the top 3 in after-school attendance for all 26 FCPS Middle Schools!  We could not do this without your support, the staff members who work in our program and of course your students!

Below is a link for a quick survey about the KJMS Middle School After-School Program. The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. The survey is an important component of the after-school program evaluation and is critical for future funding. The more responses we receive, the more valuable and reliable the data. The responses not only allow us to assess the impact of the after-school program but they help drive program improvement and program quality!

Thank you for completing the survey and for your support of the after-school program.  This survey is FCPS approved. Approval Number is 24234.

KJMS RISE - New Student Orientation Program

KJMS RISE 2024 – New Student Orientation!

Registration is available for the 2024 KJMS RISE program.  This one day experience will ensure your student starts off middle school at KJMS on the right foot!

  • One Day Orientation for students new to KJMS
  • Choose from three dates – July 26, July 29, or July 30, from 9am-1pm
  • Connect with KJMS Students
  • Meet some KJMS Staff
  • Get to know the building 
  • Learn more about what to expect with middle school
  • $25 Registration Fee*
  • Lunch provided
  • KJMS Spirit Wear!

How to Register:

  1. Signup for your preferred RISE date HERE
  2. Go to MySchoolBucks - search and select the "KJMS RISE Summer Program 2024" item to pay the $25 Registration fee*. If you are not coming to us from one of our feeder schools, you may not be able to find this item in MySchoolBucks.
