Prinicipal's Message

Wolverine Families,

Wow, only 11 mores days until graduation.  This is such an exciting time for our students and families.

I want to congratulate all the students on their AP exams and SOL tests the last few weeks.  Your students have really worked hard, and we cannot wait to see the positive results of all their hard work and dedication.

This week we had our Parent Project graduation for our pyramid.  We had 45 parents participate and receive their certification.  Shout-out to our own, Ms. Rosa Rapavi, Parent Liaison, who helps with this awesome program.  In addition, some of our own Wolverine students volunteer each week at Hybla Valley ES to help set-up and assist for the Parent Project classes.  These students are pictured below:

This was a busy week with honor society inductions. See some pictures below to highlight the week.

Our sports teams are also doing well.  We still have a few teams left in the playoffs.  We wish softball, baseball, boys lacrosse, and the track athletes competing in the States an exuberant Good Luck!

Lastly, I want to reiterate the importance of attendance for the last couple weeks of school.  We need students in every day, including the final exam days.

I hope you all have a great, long Memorial Day weekend!

-Jessica Statz, Principal

Test optional does not mean test blind!

Many students still provide test scores with their college applications. Test scores are used for admissions, scholarships, and class placement. Take a mock test to see if you’re in the scholarship range or just a prep class away from that range. Test optional means YOU CHOOSE whether or not to send your scores. A good test score can only strengthen your application.
