End of Year Book Swap

As the end of the school year is approaching and you start cleaning up, put aside any gently used books that you do not need anymore. If they still have a lot of life in them, they will make their next owner happy! So don’t keep them around! Bring them to our End of the Year Book Swap!

On Monday and Tuesday June 3rd and 4th, bring any books you wish to swap in the library. There, from the book swap table, you will exchange them with the same number of books that you brought. If you do not have any books to swap at the moment, don’t let that stop you. Come by the library and get a book! We have a lot of books for your summer reading!!

It is fun! You can replenish your bookshelf without spending money!

Come one, come many! And bring your used and unused books for swapping!

For more information, contact our librarian Rosalie Essimi, rmessimimen@fcps.edu

Franklin Sherman Garden Needs Your Help

We need to trim the butterfly bushes, weed the beds, mulch to keep weeds down, move some native plants, remove invasive ones etc…

This is not a one day or a one person job. The Green Panda needs you! Join us on Wednesdays, from 4:15 to 5:00 as we begin working on maintaining our learning garden. If you can spare 10 or 15 minutes, come pull a few invasive weeds!

Our pollinators will thank you for it!!
